Community Guidelines

Last updated:

DuyApp is a hyperlocal, AI-powered social media app that supports anonymous and pseudonymous use. Certain rules apply to all users so that the community stays safe and healthy. If the community guidelines are violated, content may be removed, and accounts may be temporarily suspended or permanently closed without prior notice. In cases involving serious criminal conduct, the necessary information may be shared with the competent authorities within the scope of legal obligations.

Identifying people

It is prohibited to share the name, photo, initials, username or any other information that could reveal the identity of a person who uses the app anonymously, or to try to identify that person through such information.

Bullying and harassment

Posts that target a person with demeaning, humiliating, threatening or persistently disturbing content are prohibited. Content aimed at singling out a person as a collective target, excluding them, or encouraging others to harass them is also not allowed.

Hate speech

Content that demeans, excludes or singles out a person or community because of their identity or the group they belong to, or that stirs up hatred and hostility against them, is prohibited.

Sexual assault and harassment

Content and conduct that sexually disturb, target or humiliate a person are not allowed. It is prohibited to photograph or film someone for sexual purposes without their consent, or to share such photos or videos; to harass someone with sexual comments; to make persistent sexual advances; and to post content that encourages or normalises sexual assault.

Obscene content

It is prohibited to share posts that contain nudity, are sexual in nature, or are obscene in a way that may disturb people.

Child safety

DuyApp is only for users aged 18 and over, and the accounts of users found to be under 18 are closed. In addition, no content that abuses or exploits children or endangers their safety is allowed.

Violence and threats

Content that threatens people, incites violence or glorifies violence is not allowed. It is prohibited to share disturbing posts that contain injury, blood or gore.

Self-harm

Content that encourages, promotes or mocks self-harm, suicide or eating disorders is not allowed. Sharing methods of self-harm or suicide is also prohibited.

Illegal activity

It is prohibited to offer or organise the sale, supply or trade of illegal substances, drugs or other prohibited products. Illegal betting, fraud, cheating on exams or assignments, and content that incites crime are also not allowed.

Misinformation

Content intended to deliberately mislead users, unverified news that could cause panic, unverified allegations of serious crimes, and fake content impersonating real people are prohibited.

Spam and trolling

Repetitive posts, excessive advertising, fake accounts, vote or location manipulation, and posts that deliberately sabotage discussions or repeatedly provoke users are prohibited.

Duyu and AI content

These rules also apply to prompts written to Duyu, Duyu Fun scenarios, and the sharing of AI outputs. It is prohibited to attempt to produce fiction, impersonation, defamation or intimate images without consent that target real people; to bypass safety filters; and to present AI output as evidence of a real event. Fiction or anonymity does not grant permission to violate the rights of others.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or misleading. The fact that an output has been generated or has passed moderation does not mean that its accuracy or lawfulness has been confirmed.

Reporting and appeals

You can report posts, comments, messages and Duyu Fun content using the reporting options in the app. For Duyu chat replies and reports made outside the app, you can use the contact method on the support page. It is enough to describe the relevant content and the problem in your report; do not send unnecessary personal information or intimate images.

Reports are assessed according to the nature and urgency of the violation. The sanctions that may be applied and the way to appeal to the moderation team are explained in the Terms of Service. Your statutory rights to apply to the authorities are reserved.
